## 1. Introduction
At Sohoj Chemistry, we aim to provide a fair and transparent purchasing experience.
This policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and returns are handled for educational courses and other products purchased through our platform.
Please review the course description, syllabus, price, access duration, and refund conditions before completing a purchase.
This policy is subject to applicable Indian consumer-protection laws. Nothing stated here removes any refund or other remedy that a customer is legally entitled to receive.
## 2. Digital Courses and Online Batches
Digital courses may include recorded lectures, live classes, online tests, quizzes, notes, and other study materials.
Because digital content can be accessed immediately after enrollment, ordinary change-of-mind refunds are subject to the conditions described below.
### Refund requests within 7 days
A student may request a refund within seven calendar days of purchase if:
– The request is submitted within seven calendar days of successful payment.
– The student has not accessed substantive paid lessons, paid tests, or protected study materials.
– The request is not associated with misuse, fraud, or a violation of the platform’s terms.
Opening the course overview or viewing freely available previews will not, by itself, count as accessing substantive paid content.
Eligible requests will ordinarily receive a refund of the amount paid for the relevant course.
### Requests after accessing course materials
If a student has already accessed substantive paid content, Sohoj Chemistry may decline an ordinary change-of-mind refund.
However, refund requests involving defective services, materially misleading course descriptions, unavailable promised content, or other legally recognized grounds will be assessed separately.
Students retain all refund rights provided by applicable law.
## 3. Technical Problems and Failed Access
If a successful payment does not result in course enrollment, students should contact support with the transaction details.
We will investigate the payment and enrollment status and take appropriate corrective action.
Where a technical issue prevents access to a purchased course, we will first make reasonable efforts to restore access.
If access cannot be restored within a reasonable time, an appropriate refund or alternative remedy may be provided.
Students will not be refused a legally required refund solely because a technical issue originated with an external provider.
## 4. Duplicate and Failed Payments
If the same order is charged more than once, the duplicate payment will be investigated and refunded after verification.
If money is debited but the payment is marked unsuccessful, students should provide the payment reference and allow time for bank or payment gateway reconciliation.
A failed or pending payment does not automatically mean that the amount has been received by Sohoj Chemistry.
Any confirmed duplicate collection will be addressed through the applicable payment provider.
## 5. Live Classes and Canceled Sessions
Class schedules may occasionally change because of technical problems, instructor unavailability, or other reasonable circumstances.
Where possible, affected students will receive updated information.
If a paid class is canceled, Sohoj Chemistry may offer a reasonable replacement session or suitable alternative learning content.
If a substantial part of a paid batch cannot be delivered and no reasonable alternative is provided, affected students may qualify for an appropriate full or proportionate refund.
Where applicable coaching regulations require a particular cancellation or refund arrangement, those requirements will prevail.
## 6. Change of Mind and Academic Performance
Refunds are not automatically available because a student changes their study preferences, loses interest, fails to attend available classes, or is dissatisfied with examination results.
Nevertheless, requests will be considered fairly in accordance with the eligibility conditions above.
Purchasing a course does not guarantee a particular academic score, rank, admission, or examination outcome.
## 7. Coupons and Promotional Purchases
Refunds for discounted purchases are calculated using the actual amount paid after the applicable discount.
A coupon’s unused promotional value is not refundable as cash.
Orders placed using promotional offers remain subject to the same statutory consumer protections as other purchases.
Any special refund conditions attached to a promotion must be clearly disclosed before payment.
## 8. How to Request a Refund

– Reason for requesting the refund.
– Relevant screenshots or supporting information, where available.
Students should not share passwords, card PINs, OTPs, or complete payment card details when requesting support.
We may request reasonable additional information to verify the transaction and prevent fraudulent refund claims.
## 9. Refund Review and Processing
We aim to acknowledge consumer complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month, in accordance with applicable requirements.
Eligible refunds will be initiated after the request has been reviewed and approved.
Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method, where supported.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in a student’s account depends on the payment provider and bank. It commonly takes several working days after the refund is initiated.
Where permitted, the customer may be offered an alternative refund arrangement if the original payment method is unavailable.
## 10. Purchases Through Mobile Applications
If a course is purchased through a supported app-store billing system, refund handling may also involve the applicable app-store rules and procedures.
For payments completed through an authorized alternative payment system, the relevant payment provider’s processing procedures may apply.
These procedures do not remove consumer rights established by applicable law.
## 11. Physical Books and Shipped Products

Physical-product details, delivery charges, estimated dispatch times, and return eligibility will be disclosed before purchase.
### Returns for eligible physical products
Customers may request a return within seven calendar days of delivery for eligible unused products in their original condition, subject to the product-specific terms shown at checkout.
A return request may be declined for ordinary change-of-mind reasons where a product has been used, damaged by the customer, or is otherwise ineligible under clearly disclosed conditions.
### Wrong, damaged, or defective products
If a customer receives an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, we will investigate and provide an appropriate replacement, refund, or other remedy under applicable law.
Customers should report delivery problems promptly and provide photographs where reasonably possible.
A delay in reporting will not automatically remove mandatory consumer rights.
Return shipping charges for products supplied incorrectly or in a defective condition will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
### Undelivered orders
If a physical order cannot be delivered and no reasonable alternative is agreed, the customer may request a refund.
